If you follow these instructions your corset should last a long while. Feed the corset lace though the top two eyelets (holes) of the corset making sure you have equal length of lace either side. Take the right hand corset lace and lace through the second eyelet on the left and then vice versa take the left hand side lace and feed through the second eyelet on the right.
